Weclome to KC Homeschooling!

We are in the process of moving to www.kchomeschooling.com so that we can offer more resources for our members. Please sign up for membership there! :)

We are an all-inclusive secular group of local homeschoolers - we offer parent's night outs, homeschool discussion chats, a co-op, field trips, playdates, and more. On this page, you can create and join local and interest groups, participate in discussion forums, chat with other Kansas City area homeschoolers online, start a blog, and post information to share.

Our only membership requirements are that you live in the Kansas City Metro Area and are currently homeschooling. If you do not have school age children, the requirement changes to if you are intending to homeschool in elementary school.

NEW SITE

We invite you to join us at www.kchomeschooling.com to see our exciting new platform and the additional features we are able to offer like a field trip database, printable membership cards and yahoo-like email options for our online discussion forum.

We are going to collect dues in 2010 to cover our website expenses and to be able to offer even more activities to our community. The dues will be $10/year per family. Checking out the new site is not a commitment to pay. We want our current members to be able to try it out before they commit funds to it.

Our Ning site will remain open during the transition and in the event our new platform turns out not to be as wonderful as we expect.

We need one to three moms (or dads) to go along with the kids as chaperones. The other parents are free to pay and play with their other smaller kids or leave and come back. I will be staying the whole time but will be with my 4 year old in the play…

Ecology at Paradise Park at Paradise Park

January 29, 2010 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm

Students will explore, discuss and discover the effects of water pollution. They will learn about preserving the enviornment. This is not creative, free play at Paradise Park but rather a structured field trip with two or three teachers.
